Description:
Grand Pré, Nova Scotia, John Winslow announces that the Acadians had to leave their homes immediately which were located in what we know today as the Maritime Provinces, as they were now property of the British crown. The Acadians were forcibly removed from their land by British soldiers and were sent to the Thirteen colonies or back to France on British ships.
