Description:
In the sixth expedition, Zheng He led a fleet of 41 ships. These ships sailed to many of the Southeast Asian and Indian courts, stops in the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, and the coast of Africa that were previously visited. This was in order to return nineteen ambassadors to their respective homelands. Zheng He returned to China in less than a year, sending his fleet to go to several different planned routes. Some ships went as far south as Sofala in present day Mozambique.*Route is on photo below.*
