The graffiti slowly went from tagging to art. graffiti artists would spend an entire night painting even though they wouldn’t “gain” anything from it. Graffiti artists would often paint something with a meaning or a political message behind it. Although sometimesGraffiti artists are today more acknowledged and can even get paid for making graffiti art either on a public wall or a regular canvas. Graffiti artists such as Banksy, Lady Pink and OSGEMEOS are highly esteemed in the graffiti community. A single one of their works can contribute to a city's culture.
