The Kinetoscope (jan 1, 1888 – jan 1, 1891)
Description:
1888:Thomas Edison and W.K.L Dickson decided to make a machine for for making and showing moving photographs.
1889: Edison saw Mareys camera, and got Kodak film stock.
1891: The Kinetograph camera and the Kinescope viewing box was ready to be patented
Dickson used sheets of Kodak/Eastman film strips and cut them into 1 inch (35 mm) wide strips, and punched 4 holes on either side on each frame.
