Over time, the Slavic communities separate into diverse cultural groups. The Eastern Slavs become the Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians. The Sothern Slavs became the Bulgarians, Croats, Serbs, and Slovens. The Eastern Slaves became the Poles, Czechs, and Slovaks.
