Baroque music is a period or style of Western art music composed from approximately 1600 to 1750.
Baroque music is characterized by long flowing melodic lines often using decorative notes such as trills and turns, contrast between loud and soft, solo and ensemble. a contrapuntal texture where two or more melodic lines are combined.
J.S. Bach was a popular composer at that time. One of his popular songs is called "Prelude in C Major".
