Aerial Torpedoes (jan 1, 1930 – dec 31, 1937)
Description:
The U.S. Navy began experimenting with radio-controlled aircraft during the 1930s resulting in the Curtiss N2C-2 drone in 1937. The drones were fitted with a tricycle landing gear, and could be remote-controlled from the ground or another aircraft.
