Women's Suffrage Movement (jan 1, 1848 – jan 1, 1920)
Description:
The Women’s Suffrage Movement was a long fight for women to gain the right to vote in the United States. It took nearly 100 years for women, activists, and reformers to win that right, which was not an easy fight. As a result of this movement, the the Seneca Falls Woman’s Rights Convention was held.
