The Middle Ages (476 AD - 1450 AD) (jan 1, 476 – jan 1, 1450)
Description:
The Middle Ages was an unstable period that lasted for nearly a millennium. Historians often group the era into three distinct periods: the Early Middle Ages, the High Middle Ages and the Late Middle Ages.
The really weird thing about medieval European ideas about education for women was that women were founding colleges all over the place — but wouldn't allow women to attend them.
In contrast to the anti-science sentiments brewing in Europe during the dark ages, in the Middle East Islam was founded around 610 AD - 660 AD after the birth if Muhammed in Mecca in 570 AD. This lead to the spreading of Islam and periods of enlightenment in terms of architecture and science that spread all across regions of Southern Africa and India.
Early Middle Ages (476 AD - 1000 AD) also known as Late Antiquity; this period shows most powers rebuilding after the collapse of the Roman Empire and the beginning of Islam in the Middle East.
High Middle Ages (1000 AD - 1250 AD) 250-year period that saw the height of the Catholic church’s power in the Crusades.
Late Middle Ages (1250 AD - 1450 AD) a period that saw the Black Plague, the beginning of European exploration and the invention of the printing press.
