King Philip's War 1675-1676 (18h 14min, jan 1, 1675 y – 20h 9min, jan 1, 1676 y)
Description:
The King Philip's war was a series of battles in New Hampshire of the English settlers versus the Wampanoag tribe, who was led by a chief named Metacom. The English, however, referred to him as King Phillip. This was the last serious effort by the Native Americans to get rid of English settlers, and their defeat showed that the English were here to stay and it opened up Native land to English settlement. The war lasted for 14 months and ended when Metacom was captured and beheaded.
