Description:

2. This was a case and a landmark decision of the US Constitution in which the court held that the Constitution was not meant to include American citizenship for black people.

3. The final decision of the case in which Dred Scott lost the case angered the North but delighted the South. Since the final decision coincidently occured when the new Democratic president was inaugurated, the North started suspecting that the Democrats had planned the final decision.
