[43*] Reign of Helaňëṡa of Sovapenta (jul 31, 1177 – jul 5, 1198)

Description:

He was known by his people as a kind and caring ruler and labeled by them as the Blessed Lizard. Helaňëṡa had always been different to his brothers since he was born, despite being the middle child. He was born with bright ginger hair, extremely rare in Oipientia, let alone Yueroki, and did not look like any other Karmen. However, he was birthed from the same mother and had his father's genes. Regardless, he was always the kindest of his siblings, helping all those who requested aid and most of the missions his father had sent him on resulted in almost no lives ever lost.

His father always called him the Shieldbearer of the family, emulating his future as the Blessed Lizard of Oipientia.

Originally, Helaňëṡa did not want to rise up against his siblings, but after Kaeserëlar made the first move against Halder by killing his son, he took up arms. He claimed that Kaeserëlar was wrong in his decisions and needed to understand that violence was not the best option, though hypocritical, it was the only path he could take. He travelled to Rebinethi and the Western Lords accepted him as the true king, establishing Sovapenta. The kingdom was strong for decades, but eventually Kaeserëlar had strained supplies too thin for Sovapenta and surrounded Helaňëṡa. There, he lost his life at the very end and fulfilled his promise to his father for never losing his ground until his last breath.

He was beloved by the Oipientians and this made both of his brothers grow jealous as it seemed that he had more popularity and a higher likelihood to the throne.

In his final battle against his brother, Kaeserëlar, the dynastic spear, Škatarvíth, was thrusted into his stomach. Kaeserëlar asked what his last words were to be and he said, "I will forever love you brother. Do not surrender for you were always the true king. I just-I just had to show you." After his death, a statue was constructed by Kaeserëlar and placed in front of the Karmen Palace in Kueplios where it remained until it was destroyed during the Battle of Kueplios in 1251 during the Red Oipientian War.
