Description:
The Spanish American War was a war fought between Spain and the U.S. after the Maine blew up and the U.S. blamed it on a Spanish mine. In the end the U.S. became victorious in the war and the Treaty of Paris 1898 was signed. Also the U.S. renounced all claims to Cuba, Guam, and Peurto Rico.Added to timeline:
