Tiananmen Square Massacre (apr 15, 1989 – jun 5, 1989)

Description:

Though the protest had various causes, corruption in the communist party was the main issue. The protests were student-led. It was where Chinese students and workers gathered together and protested against the repressive government and demand more political openness. Sadly, it ended up being quite violent and some student had even been killed in the incident.
