Description:
The Iranian Revolution was a series of events that ended in the overthrow of the Pahlavi reign under Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. The government was replaced by an Islamic republic named Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. Protests against the Shah started in October 1977, which later turned into a crusade of civil conflict.
