The Xinjiang re-education camps are imprisonment camps ran by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region government and its CCP group. The camps have been criticized by many countries and human rights organizations for “alleged human rights abuses and mistreatment, with some even alleging killing”, still others have said they support the camps.
