Thought Reform “Schools” in Xinjiang (jan 1, 2017 – jan 1, 2021)
Description:
With so many different cultural groups in such a large country like China. The government has been trying to bring all of its citizens into the same mindset and unity, preferably completely obedient. Uygers started being required to enter the re-education camps in 2017, and even though China said all the students had graduated in 2019, they have still built several dozen more compounds. Even though the Chinese government claims to provide a culturally enriching experience, there is plenty of evidence for forced labor, brainwashing with propaganda, and maltreatment. Many of the millions of prisoner/students were detained on claims of terrorism, and extremeism.
