The Industrial Revolution (jan 1, 1790 – jan 1, 1860)

Description:

The Industrial Revolution was an era of time between 1790 and 1860 where many manufacturers began to be more efficient. This time period included the building of factories, and exploiting natural resources. As efficiency increased, goods became cheaper which allowed more people to be able to experience greater luxury which is significant because it overall raised the standard of living. The Industrial Revolution was responsible for changing the working conditions and standard of living of people for the better which is why this ideology was formed. This ideology stated that workers should be given more equality and liberty. This is also a time when women began working in factories to help support their families. To make factories even more efficient, different technologies were developed to make life easier, one of which was the sewing machine.
