English Restoration (may 25, 1660 – jan 1, 1714)
Description:
After the failure of Cromwell's rule, England wanted to return to it's old monarchy. Charles II, son of the beheaded Charles I, returned from exile in Europe to take back the throne of England in 1660. The restoration of the English system took place from then to as late as 1714, through the reigns of Charles II and his succesors.
