Coalescence (jun 27, 2019 – jun 29, 2019)

Description:

SPOILERS:

Nicholas Friedmann curses Syra, causing her to lose control of her mind for a while, grow wings, set on fire, and fly off into the night, so he can imprison her with Miri in Whitebridge penitentiary.

Thalia is threatened at gunpoint so that Steve will give up the location of the tome that summoned Syra. James, Sofia and Tania plan to break into Whitebridge, and it is revealed that Nicholas Friedmann is not only at the head of the cult that created Syra and had an unexplained fascination with girls farting (yeah I know it's weird but I'll explain it in a future story so go with it for now), but is also Matthias Fjoremann's brother (Nicholas' real name is Nikolai Fjoremann).

James, Tania, and Sofia, with the help of Lucy, manage to get into Whitebridge, but they're too late. Nicholas is able to use both tomes to complete his ritual, and fuse Miri and Syra into Acquanateair, a deity that is simultaneously an amalgam of Miri and Syra, and yet is also her own person. She is most comparable to a dragoness.

James witnesses Acqua for the first time, and while Nicholas is pledging his allegiance to Acqua, she dismisses him. She considers Nicholas a fool, and feels uncomfortable with existing on the condition of Miri and Syra not existing. Therefore, she accepts James' attempts to try and bring Syra and Miri back. Acqua threatens Nicholas to help them.

Sofia and Lucy get a moment to talk with each other and befriend each other, before they are interrupted by a bestial fart from Acqua. They head back inside and James explains the plan to un-fuse Acqua. They all head up to the surface of the prison, with Acqua having to break her way out of the cell through a hidden compartment that was built specifically only for Acqua to be able to break into. Acqua finally gets unfused by Nicholas and Matthias, with James' help, but due to the commotion, the media ends up getting clear footage of everything, revealing non-humans to the world.

Thanks to one of the prisoners, a ghost girl called Catherine, borrowing one of the tomes, the rest of the non-humans in the prison are able to escape via teleportation, their whereabouts unknown. Matthias sets up the campaign for non-human rights, with the help of Tania, Miri and James. Syra is shaken up by the whole experience and lives on the streets with the tomes in her possession, intent on finding a spell that could free Acqua without compromising Miri and herself. She does say goodbye to Steve and Thalia first though. Sofia and Lucy decide to become roommates. Miri and James move into a mansion built to house someone of her size, a mansion that Fjoremann had built as somewhat of a secret prototype project.
