Description:
The city of Harlem was the mecca of black culture in the 20's as african americans expressed the experiences and cultural through brand new music art and writing. This timeperiod was an important time of selfexspression and representation of black history and modern day stugles and joys. The Harlem Renisance celebrated Black Pride to it's fullest extent creating a brand new genre of music Jazz.This resulted in Jazz one of the most important styles of music as it influenced everything and opened doors for so many differnent styles of music.Added to timeline:
