Wilson Presidency (mar 4, 1913 – mar 4, 1921)

Description:

Woodrow Wilson was the President of the United States during World War I. For his presidency Wilson beat out both Roosevelt and Taft in the election. Wilson is responsible for making the Federal Reserve System, Federal Trade Commision, and a taxing system that are all still used today. Wilson won his second term by using the phrase “America First” as his campaign. However once US ships started being bombed by German submarines his ideals switched and Wilson was ready to launch the United States in the middle of World War I. After the war he help create the League of Nations and wrote the 14 points to help with reconstruction and rules for after the war.
