Description:
Period of drought, high temperatures, and severe storms in the 1930s resulting in major droughts that led to a significant amount of farmland in Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and New Mexico becoming useless for farmers - Lasted for 10 years. Hundreds of thousands of farmers travelled to California (“Okies”)
