Description:

Woodrow Wilson was the 28th president of the United States and he ran as a candidate for the Progressive Party. He led the United States through World War I and is known for his huge effort in trying to create world peace. Wilson had many plans for the United States regarding the war. Many included putting together the Federal Reserve System, Federal Trade Commission, and the 14 Points. Wilson’s 14 point plan was a plan for the US during WWI such as freedom of the seas, reduction in arms, etc. He also advocated heavily for a League of Nations, and ended up winning a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts.
