Road to Revolution: New England Prepares for War (jan 1, 1774 – dec 31, 1774)

Description:

As the colonists are protesting more and more the British had to stop it and therefore british troops began to fortify Boston. Thousands of Americans militiamen were prepared to resist the troops but no fighting happened. Insted a Provincial Congress was created in Massachusetts that could decide when the military could be called in for action. This was later important when the fighting started, in for example Lexington and Concord. These fights and the colonist getting ready was also important for the last event when the Congress Declares Independence.
