Description:
The colonists opposed against the taxes and united against the British. Now they answered with organized protests. Secret organizations such as Sons of Liberty was a big part of it. Soon the colonies named delegated to a congress - The First Continental Congress - to meet in Philadelphia in September 5. This was important because the British got scared and started their preparation for war.
