Description:
The English Civil war was both a religious conflict as well as a political conflict. The war was between the Roundheads, led by Olivercromwell, and the Royalists (Cavaliers). The Roundheads were Clavanists, and also sided with Parliament on the political side while the Royalists were anglican and sided with England's monarch and believed in divine right, The war went on for 9 years.
