Golden Generation (Gen 1) (apr 25, 2020 – jul 5, 2020)

Description:

Gen 1, also known as the Golden Generation, was sparked by the public spread of fishing rods. Psychdelic_Poro became the face of Gen 1 spreading queue fishing around and distributing rods to everyone in queue, allowing everyone to fish. This generation pulled queue out of the Badminning Era and into the foundations of what would become queue today. This generation was also filled with players that did not take queue seriously and played it as a joke, which would lead to the generation's eventual demise and the beginning of the First Queue Death. Gen 1 died due to the boredom/end of a trend and a lack of commitment for many players who moved on back into main and ended after the queuefags that got rods from the more popular players became rich.
