[25] Rextèxec Term (jan 10, 1878 – jan 10, 1883)

Description:

25th Tsĩvgalè
Vice President: Javik Tothek
The Tsĩvgalèploi of Relcè Rextèxec. He is regarded as one of the greatest Tsĩvgalès in Oipientian history, especially for the amount of reforms he passed that helped the people, rather than himself.

He joined the Oipientian Army at 16 and was sent to Joxek to fight in the Independence War. He gained a large scar across his face at the age of 21 and left the army after the war. After coming back to Yueroki, he studied at the University of Oipienta-Rebinethi to learn economics. There, he joined the Socialist Myosan Youth Group (SMYG) and started to partake more so in labor politics and riots. He graduated in 1865 and began working for the Myosan State Government as a Governor's Assistant. By 1869, he had began to campaign for a seat in the 18th Senate of the Republic and won over the previous Senator Jãmeivõ Sãsvalvĩr.

As a senator, he pushed for new reforms and worked closely with other Socialist senator, Javik Tothek in order to achieve the socialist labor goals. They heavily campaigned and pushed Myosa to become the most "radical" leftist region in Oipienta in the late 19th Century. Rextèxec became both famous and infamous all throughout the nation, but amongst the young, he was loved. This helped him gain a large enough following for his bid for tsivgale and also with the ending of the Third Hells War alongside Mèpšav's fumbles, Rextèxec had an amazing shot for the election. Halfway through his senatorial term, he asked Tothek if he would help him achieve the Tsivgaleploi and he agreed. Eventually, by 1875, Tothek agreed to be his Vice Tsivgale despite him actually wanting the power and being older than the young politician. He won the election in 1877 and was one of the most radical Tsivgalerov at that point in time.

He pushed for numerous labor reforms such as psuhing for an 16 hour work day from the previous 18 hour workday, for women to be able to work industrial jobs, and banned children 10 and below from working and enforced required education for kids ages 5-16. Most of these reforms were completely reversed during the Tothek period.

He also expanded the political landscape of Oipienta by admitting new territories into the republic. He passed a few laws expanding the rights of territories, reservations, and other provincial limits. However, a lot of what he had done was completely redone by Tothek for he had started to believe that Rextèxec was passing too many reforms and leading Oipienta to its complete destruction.

On January 16, 1882, Rextèxec was visiting Banuria, Grossya and slipped on the steps going down from the Palace of Parliament. He fell down 4 flights of stairs, causing horrilbe harm to him. He broke 4 bones and was transported immediately to a local hospital. His fall caused him to be immoble for the rest of 1882 to 1883 and forced him to not run for a second term.
