[23] Síxe Term (jan 10, 1863 – jan 10, 1873)

Description:

23rd Tsĩvgalè
The Tsĩvgalèploi Term of Javik Síxe.
[Male]

His first year went decently alright, but the beginnings of a lot of change had already been brewing in Oipienta. Debates and women's riots had been occurring throughout the nation in 1862 and 1863 and the pressure finally broke the Senate by 1864. However, this started many changes in Oipientian politics including the splitting of the Conservative-Republican Party and the massive growth of the 2nd Women's Party.

1864 was a chaotic year, especially for Síxe, due to the Javician Scandal and the following outbreak of the Third Hells War. Initially, Síxe did not want to participate in the war, but his council, mainly his Minister of War, convinced him that it was a necessary political play. This eventually leads into Oipienta's return to continental influence, but due to the focus internationally, the domestic policies inside the republic started to weaken and worsen. He continued to promote women's rights, but found conflicts inside the senate after his reelection, with numerous Old Politic Senators casting blame on Síxe for stealing the election. With the passing of the 16th Amendment, women were granted the right to vote and so, they casted their votes all for Síxe, thus giving him a giant leap to victory.

Later during the early Tothek Period, Síxe was arrested under corruption charges and sentenced to death. Tothek had gathered various different politicians that he believed could be a threat to his power and had them killed. He tried to purge Oipienta and though most executions went through, he was unable to arrest all without great protest from the people. However, for Síxe, he was one of the unfortunate ones and died on July 1, 1884 alongside most of his Council.
