Francisco Pizarro Meets Atahualpa (nov 15, 1532 – nov 17, 1532)
Description:
The Spaniards approached the Inca town of Cajamarca. Francisco asked to meet the Inca king. Atahualpa agreed as he had an army of 80,000 men and made him wait until the next day. They met and had a couple of conversations and drinks, the next day Francisco attacked. Several thousand Incas were killed with zero Spanish losses. Atahualpa was captured alive and was held for ransom.
