Mexican American War (apr 25, 1846 – feb 2, 1848)
Description:
After the Mexican American war ended the United State gained a significant amount of land from Mexico. There were many disputes about how slavery should be administered in the newly aquired territory at a national level and at a domestic level between the people living in the new territories. This help lead to the Civil War because thousands of people disputed between Abolitionists and people that were pro slavery.Added to timeline:
