He is most famous for his plays, but his poems are also widely popular and liked. Born of John Shakespeare and Mary Aden and had seven siblings. He was the eldest. Shakespeare began his work in London by publishing two poems 'Venus and Adonis' and 'The Rape of Lucrece'. Throughout his career he produced 38 plays, 154 sonnets, 2 narrative poems, and a variety of poems.
