French and Indian War (may 15, 1754 – feb 10, 1763)
Description:
The French and Indian War was fought in the Colonies but was mainly between France and Britain. Native Americans aided and had alliances with both sides. This war started because of the American Colonies expanding west. The war ended with the signing of the Treaty of Paris in which France gave up all their North American Territories to the British as well as the Spanish. Because of this war the colonists got a lot more land for which they could expand; anywhere east of the Mississippi.Added to timeline:
