Description:

War between English colonists with their Native American allies against the Pequot Indians. This war is important because it established England's dominance in New England, instead of the Dutch. Colonist's claimed that the war was in response to the deaths of their fellow colonists, but in reality it was caused by disputes over trade between Native American Tribes and Colonists.
