Who:
Perpetrators were the Nazis, an extreme and violent nationalist group, led by Adolf Hitler. Although Himmler conducted most of the genocide. The Nazi party sought to fix Germany and the rest of Europe from the Jews, whom Hitler believed to be leeches of society.
Victims were Jews, and other undesirables, who were killed under the Final Solution. The Final Solution was Hitler's plan to eradicate the world of the Jewish population, and this involved the use of gas chambers in a meticulous camp system.

Nearly 6 million Jews
During this time, the president of the United States was Franklin Roosevelt. The United States ignored the early signs of fanaticism, the Holocaust seemed false.
