Description:
America helped to fight off the Viet Cong from invading the South of Vietnam, but they were completely unequipped to fight guerilla military, resulting in their eventual retreat from Vietnam. It had a massive media pushback throughout the entire course of the war, as Americans saw it as unnecessary, that the government stepped in, but was not forced to in any way.Added to timeline:
