Description:
He was an Italian sculptor. He was famous for making the Gates of Paradise, located in the Baptistery Cathedral of Florence, which was considered one of the greatest masterpieces of Italian art. He was also famous for the three bronze statues Orsanmichele, and the reliefs of the cathedral in Siena. He was also famous for writing a book called I Commentarii.Added to timeline:
