Pope Callixtus III (jan 1, 1455 – jan 1, 1458)
Description:
He was one of the popes from the Borgia family. He was famous for sending a crusade in order to recover Constantinople. He was also famous for instituting the Feast of Transfiguration. He was also the one that revised the trial of Joan of Arc, which gave her the justice she deserved. His personal life was considered blameless and avoided many flaws other popes had.
