Pope Leo X (jan 1, 1513 – jan 1, 1521)
Description:
Pope Leo X was a pope from the Medici family, he was the son of Lorenzo di Medici. He was famous for making Rome a cultural center and a political power. However, he depleted the papal treasury because he failed to acknowledge the reformation thus dissolutating the Western Church as well as excommunicating Martin Luther (monk).
