Christopher Columbus (jan 1, 1451 – jan 1, 1506)

Description:

Christopher Columbus was from Genoa Italy, however he sailed for spain. He was the discoverer of the Americas, though he thought it was India. He was also known for the colonization of America as well as the exploration. He made a total of four trips hoping to find a direct sea route from Europe to Asia. His fleet was also famous, which was made of caravels called the Niña, the Pinta and the carrack Santa Maria.
