Description:
Men's Dress: 1400-1450 styles consistent with late medieval Europe.
Hair, headdress: Pageboy hairstyle, turban-like styles, pillbox styles
1450-1500 garments: shirt or camicia (linen), doublet, jacket (w/ hanging sleeves), ceremonial robes, wraps.
Foot Legwear: footed hose w/ leather soles, shoe toes less pointed.
1500s: Blackwork embroidery on shirts (ex. lace), slashing on doublets, shirt pulled through slashes, codpieces become padded, short-sleeved jackets
Women's Dress:
1400-1450: houppelande, beehive-shaped hats
1450-1500 garments: Chemise or camicia, dress/gown, overdress/overgown, capes and mantles
Hair, headdress: hair long, elaborately styled, "token" head covering (e.g., "Juliet cap"), ferroniere
