Fillipo Brunelleschi: Perspective (jan 8, 1410 – aug 18, 1415)

Another one of his most significant accomplishments was when he discovered the principles of linear-perspective and demonstrated it in two paintings. He created the new idea of perspective. Because of him, artists during his age had the ability to produce works with fascinating realism. On 2D surfaces, they created 3D paintings. Without his new perspective on, well perspective, artists today may not have know the techniques needed to make a 3D painting. We would be stuck with 2D, flat, unrealistic drawings. It would take away the the feeling, mood, and vibe that the artist may be trying to portray.
