Starting Trading (jan 1, 1667 – dec 1, 1677)
Description:
Over the next several years after Raddison, Sieur de Groseilliers, Jean Nicolet, and Etienne Brule more French traders started to arrive in Wisconsin. Nicolas Perrot, one of the French traders, built a trading post at Green Bay. He built many trading posts in this region and in 1689 he claimed this region for France.
