Description:
Judges 2/7-10So Joshua died and shortly afterwards all the contemporary generational elders "who had seen all the great works of Yahweh".
The next generation found it convenient to forget what alot of them must have also seen and 'they did evil in the sight of Yahweh and followed Baalim'.
The rot set in and the examples of degeneracy recorded in Judges 17-21 are provided as examples and warnings.
