First Industrial Revolution (jan 1, 1760 – jan 1, 1840)
Description:
The First Industrial Revolution was the start of the transition in America and Europe to a more modern way of life. Until then, everything was made by hand, but then machines and assembly lines were invented that made production on a large scale a lot easier. The textile industry was the first to use these innovations. The revolution started in Britain and by the middle of the 18th century, Britain controlled dominated trade worldwide. The First Industrial Revolution set the stage for many advances we have today.
