Description:
The Protestant Reformation began when the people had finally had enough with the corruption in the church. Many people like Martin Luther, John Wycliff and Jan Hus earned a large following because of their protests against church teachings. The reformation caused many divides not only in religion, but in politics, philosophy, and culture. Many consequences came as a result, including wars and persecution. the world was never the same after the reformation because of the ideas that were questioned.
