Europe’s Late Middle Ages (jan 1, 1300 – jan 1, 1450)
Description:
The Late Middle Ages were a time of trial and turmoil. Some of the biggest disruptions of that time were the “Little Ice Age,” the Black Plague, and the Hundred Year’s War. These events brought religious reformation and social upheaval. People started to leave their homes in search of work and means. Labor became more valuable, due to the high mortality rate of the plague. The people who survived these times enjoyed a higher standard of living.
