Beer Hall Putsch (nov 8, 1923 – nov 9, 1923)

Description:

The Beer Hall Putsch was an attempt by the Nazis to seize Munich as an act of rebelling against the Wilmer Republic. This however, was unsuccessful and resulted in the disbanding of the NSDAP party and the arresting of the leaders of the party, including Hitler. While this attempt may have been unsuccessful, the failure to destroy the NSDAP party only made it go underground, which allowed the rising of the Nazi party years after.
