Wilson Presidency (mar 4, 1913 – mar 4, 1921)

Description:

Woodrow Wilson was the 28th President of the United States. He led the United States through World War 1. He believed in world peace and was an advocate for democracy. While he was in office, he wanted progressive reform which he wanted to establish a Federal Trade Commission and a Federal Reserve. During WW1, he attempted to keep the United States in a neutral zone. He declared war in 1917. After the war ended, he wanted to negotiate a treaty that incorporated his 14 points to create a League of Nations. But, the Senate did not like this idea, and would not let the U.S join.
